Still Pregnant

So this is probably the worst picture ever, but this is me on January 20 the day Alden was supposed to make his appearance into the world.  Obviously he did not.  Here is a quick update on what we has  been happening in the Peterson house during January.  We have not taken any pictures because the camera has been packed away in the hospital bag.  This happened because at our appointment on January 6 the doctor told us he thought we would have a baby within 48 hours and if not then definitely within the week.  So we came home packed a bag got out the car seat and had everything sitting by the front door for the moment we would head to the hospital.  Well that week came and went and at the next doctor appointment they said nothing had changed.  We left a little disappointed, but it was still a week before our due date so not too big of a deal.  Again nothing happened during that next week.  When we went on January 19 the doctor again said nothing had changed and he will see us at the hospital when I am induced.  So that is where we are now just waiting for this Friday to have a baby.

We have however been trying to do a lot of things that will be difficult in the next few weeks to come.  We have been to the $3 theatre a couple of times to get our fill in of movies.  We have been miniature golfing, bowling, and had friends over for dinner and games a few times.  Too bad all of these fun things didn't entice Alden to come join us, but you can be sure that our next post wil consist of a Peterson family of 3.  Keep your fingers crossed that labor and delivery go smoothly :)
