Oh "Two"dles!

Can you believe Alden is 2?! Neither can we, but we love him even more now and are excited to watch him grow and learn new things everyday.  Since about last February Alden has been really in to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  He can name all of the Mickey Mouse characters and can pick out Mickey from a mile away so it only made sense to have a Mickey Mouse party.  We invited Grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins and Alden was thoroughly spoiled.

Grandpa Norton decorated the cake and Alden couldn't wait to get the car off (he also loves cars!)

The extent of my decorating skills.  This is a phrase from the opening song of  Mickey Mouse Clubhouse if you aren't familiar with it.

Alden got a trike from mom and dad.  I think he was excited. Now he just needs to grow a little over an inch in order to have his feet reach the peddles.  Hopefully by this summer.

Opening presents. Alden got a couple of different train sets, clothes, two ramps for his cars (one goes in the bath tub) and some Mickey Mouse toys.  He was so fun to watch after presents because he didn't know what to play with first and just wandered around for a while.

He also did awesome at unwrapping the gifts all by himself.  This is the first time he has done this so it is kind of a big deal.

We practiced blowing out candles so he was a pro and got both of them on the same blow. He was a little confused when I wouldn't let him blow until after we were done singing.

At the end of every show they do the Hot Dog Dance so we this was the sign above the food with the lyrics from the song.

Cass was pretty excited for Hot Dogs because he got to use his grill for the first time.  Good news it worked great!  Thanks for all of our family for coming and supporting Alden as he grows. We love all of you and are so happy that Alden has so many people who care about him and help him succeed.
