June 27, 2014 Jarom turned one and we went to Elko for his party. Jamie did a great job putting everything together and we had a really fun trip.
The outside decorations Jamie made thanks to some help from Pintrest.
Jarom was a little upset about having to pose for a picture :)
Grandpa Norton made a fun birthday cake to go along with the block theme of the party.
Along with the block themed food and decorations Jamie came up with the idea to paint these block banks.
The kids enjoyed painting.
And playing with the blocks.
But the highlight of the party was the minion pinata.
Jarom enjoyed hitting it with a little help from his Tita.
Thanks Jamie for putting really good candy in the pinata. After we cleaned up all of the candy it was time for cake. Jarom got his own monkey cake.
Surprisingly he didn't get too messy.
Jarom got a lot of fun presents, but his favorite was the fire truck book we gave him.
