If you are a fan/avid reader of our blog you probably remember that I got a sewing machine for my birthday in July. Well since then I have had a blast making things for our new little addition. The latest creation was a white suit for his church blessing. A huge thanks goes to my aunt LaWayne for all of her help over Christmas. We started with a suit from Jamie's baby Jonathan and made our pattern before cutting and sewing began. I was a little busy trying sewing so there are virtually no pictures. Here is ironing the seems.

And here is the finished product. A vest, pants, and tiny bow tie. I am so excited about how they turned out and the best part is the fabric and buttons were 50% off so the entire thing cost about $4. Don't you think Alden is going to look adorable in this!
And as a blog bonus here is how we spent New Year's Eve. Our traditional new puzzle and a bottle of sparkling cider :) This was after an afternoon in Salt Lake attending the Savior of the World production put on by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to remind us of the birth and resurrection of our Savior and the reason why we have the holiday season.
