Water, Baseball, and Friends

We are loving summer at our house because there are so many things to get out and go do.  The past couple weeks have been doing a lot so the blog has suffered some, but here are a few of the things we have been up to.  Don't worry there will be more to come :)

Alden and Randi went to the local cplash pad with a couple of friends from the neighborhood.  This was Alden's first time to wear his swimming suit and he loved it and the water.

The next night we picked up Cassidy and headed out for another free Pass of All Passes adventure.  It was an Orem Owlz (triple A) baseball game.  We sat on the grass and had a blast finally going to a baseball game where our team won.

Then the very next night we were able to spend some time with my old roommate Brienne and her family.  They were in town from Virginia for a family reunion and made time for us to get together for dinner.  We really miss them since they moved away a couple of years ago and had a great time catching up.

And finally somewhere in the middle of all this fun Alden turned 5 months old.  He did not want to cooperate to get his picture taken so this is the best we got.  He is doing so much these days.  He is eating cereal and can roll from his tummy to his back (only to one side though), he talks a lot especially in the car where he can see himself in the mirror. He also sleeps really well and entertains himself a lot.  We love trying to make him smile and laugh and can't imagine our life without this chubby little guy :)
