April was a great month for a lot of reasons, but the highlight is probably my nephew Benjamin being born. On our way home from Idaho we took a detour to Elko in order to be there the day he was born. Here is the picture to prove it. April 9 was a good day.
About 6 weeks apart and soon to be best friends!
A couple of weeks later the kids and I took Aunt LaWayne back to Elko so she could meet Benjamin and I could help take care of Jamie because my dad had some pretty scary medical things happen and he was not allowed to work or lift or do a lot. LaWayne gave the three older boys matching shirts so they wouldn't feel left out with all of the attention on new babies. Unfortunately this is the best picture I could get of the three of them together.
And just a great picture of our sweet baby girl being extra girly!
The boys all got a bubble machine for Easter and they had a blast playing in the backyard chasing bubbles.
And because Jamie is crazy she took her two week old baby to the California Trail Center with us. This is a hidden treasure in Elko with so many fun things to do here. The kids had a blast along with the parents. Here we are packing our covered wagon.
Playing on a riverbank somewhere.
Jamie's family took family pictures one night and Alden wanted to be in them too so we had our own private photo shoot right after. This is my favorite picture.
